About the University

A legacy of scholarship — where intellectual rigour meets enduring purpose.

Our Story

The Academy was chartered in 1967 by a small group of scholars and patriots determined to establish an institution of unmistakable intellectual seriousness.

For nearly six decades we have admitted carefully, taught rigorously, and graduated those who go on to shape government, the professions, and the life of the mind in our country.

We remain deliberately small. We remain deliberately serious. We remain answerable, above all, to the standards of scholarship.

Our Mission

To form scholars, statesmen, and leaders through a classical education rooted in the great traditions of learning.

Our Vision

An institution measured not by its size but by the depth and integrity of its scholarship.

Our Values

The principles that shape every decision we make and every lesson we teach.

Scholarship

Knowledge pursued for its own sake, not as a commodity.

Tradition

A custodian of texts, methods, and standards.

Judgement

The cultivation of discerning, examined minds.

Service

Leadership rooted in duty to one’s nation.
